Looking to start a long term, work from home career?
We’re hiring virtual assistants in the π΅π Philippines, π²π½π¨π΄π¦π· Latin America, and π°πͺπΏπ¦π³π¬πͺπ¬ Africa to work with clients who are seeking a long-term assistant to grow with their company.
The People Company is a boutique virtual assistance firm focusing on long-term placements. We want to meet you!
At The People Company, we really care for our staff.
When we place a virtual assistant with one of our clients, we do so with the intent of that assistant retiring at our client’s company. That’s how long-term we’re thinking; and we’re invested in your growth from day one.
Our process is incredibly simple:
Submit your application and introduction video
Send us your resume and a little bit of directory information. We also require an introduction video, so we can gauge your English ability (this is important, as we place with American clients.) A cover letter is bonus points (especially if it's personalized.)
We love using AI at work, but please don't use it during your application! We can tell, and it'll count against you. We want to hear your thoughts and abilities, not the computer's.
You're now in our talent pool
As clients sign up to work with us, we look at our talent pool to fit our client's needs based on previous work experience, English ability, soft skills, etc. Our recruiters will identify candidates (like you!) who may be a great fit for this client, and reach out to schedule a conversation about the role.
Three rounds of interviews
If we think you'd be a good fit for one of our clients, we'll invite you for three rounds of interviews.
1) An initial conversation, to verify your experience, make sure you're logistically a good fit (backup internet, backup power, etc.), and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have of us, or of the role.
2) A more in-depth conversation with a member of our leadership team, who will dive deeper into your experience. On this call, we're gauging two things: your English ability (as is obviously very important with American clients), and soft skills. In particular, we care about good working behavior and initiative / proactiveness.
3) If you are shortlisted, a final conversation with our client where they'll be able to ask you their own questions.
Our client extends an offer
Our client makes the final decision on who to extend an offer to, but we're rooting for everyone! Once they have, we'll assist with onboarding, training, expectation setting, performance management, and make sure you begin work on a high note with your new client. Even though you work for us, most of your interaction will be with our new client in America!
